Description
***UPDATED 9/6/2018***
A COMPLETELY EDITABLE PowerPoint file is now included.
I’m approaching my 12th year of teaching this upcoming, 2018-2019 school year. I’ve planned a lot of lessons, in both the pull-out and inclusion settings – in grades K-12 learning support and emotional support. Some days a lesson I planned for didn’t get covered – or even started. Some weeks my plans look liked the week’s before. BUT – that’s special education. We adapt our plans not only daily, but sometimes by the hour or minute.
Frequently, I am asked how I do lesson plans in my classroom. It’s been a lot of trial and error, and some years plans don’t look like the previous year’s plans. I’ve finally put together ALL of the lesson plan templates I have used over the past 10+ years, and I’m so excited to share them with all of you!
These templates have been a huge life saver to me. Currently, my district has us submit plans online. Which is great. However, I don’t always want (or have time) to sit at my computer and edit that day’s or the next day’s lesson. I like to take notes keeping track of what I taught, what I didn’t get to, the centers I used, the students who still need extra practice, etc. These templates allow me to do just that.
This download consists of both weekly and daily lesson plan options. There are MANY options of use for both. I have provided detailed examples, included in this download, on how to use/set-up. If you should still be overwhelmed by ALL that’s included, you can always e-mail me! There’s a lot. I can’t lie. Although I don’t use these as my “formal” lesson plans, all plans have an option to list the standards – if you want to make these your formal lesson plan format.
All lesson plan templates were designed in a basic format, allowing for them to be used alone or with any binder/planner you might already have. They also won’t drain your ink!
