Description
Digital Calendar Quick Writes are daily writing prompts for middle school and high school students. They are a combination of your classroom calendar and your daily writing prompts. When they are combined, they make for the perfect interactive calendar. It’s super simple and easy to use.
If you already own my original Calendar Quick Writes for February, this digital file IS included in that resource.
These are the digital version of my Calendar Quick Writes, that I use in my classroom as an interactive calendar on my bulletin board. I only allow no more than 5 minutes when my students are writing their quick writes. Each prompt is to promote positive thinking and reflecting on the good. It is more as a journal entry, than a traditional classroom writing prompt.
For this digital version, I assign each month’s Quick Write at the beginning of the month. The digital Quick Write is assigned via Google Slide. The Google Slide is interactive. Students will use the monthly calendar to click on that day of the week. A slide link will then pop up for students to click on – taking them to the response page. A text box has already been added to each response page, for students to type their responses in. I have students submit their Quick Writes to me at the end of the month.
*PLEASE see the preview video above (it’s of May’s, but is the same for February).
