Description
Independent Work Day is what I call the work I leave for my students in my classroom when I have to leave to attend a meeting.
Typically my class is covered by another teacher, so I leave independent assignments (mostly review activities) for each student to complete by filling out a “work day slip” for them. I paperclip the work slip to the work the student needs to complete and leave it for the teacher covering my class. Each student receives their own work slip and work. Students check off each box as they complete each assignment. The teacher covering my class collects everything at the end.
It’s a super simple system that only requires a little prepping on my end – because I always keep these work cards on hand.
This free resource include two different options.
Option 1:

Option 2:
2 Independent Work Day Slips on a page – no text boxes so you can print and write
The fonts I used are not editable. The size of the boxes cannot be moved. You can only add additional text by inserting your own text boxes.
I always try to be as detailed as I can be when typing a product description, but
if you have any questions before purchasing, do not hesitate to ask!
